Is the treatment safe?
Radio frequency treatment is a safe and relaxing procedure. All our devices conform to EU regulations and are marked CE.
Do I have to do anything before my treatment?
Before any treatment at Dermacore, a free client consultation takes place. During this consultation, client requirements and client suitability (based on medical history and lifestyle) for treatment are assessed. Based on these findings, a personalised treatment plan is created to help deliver the results as per client expectations.
Which areas can be treated?
The procedure is highly effective on the face, double chin, stomach, arms and legs, with no risk and downtime.
What results can be expected?
In general, most clients see fast results with Radio frequency procedure; a 2-5cm circumference reduction can be expected post initial treatment. Although fat loss during the treatment is permanent, we recommend 1 session every 4-5 days to ensure the fat loss, is not reabsorbed by the cells, so that you may achieve optimum results.
How long is the treatment?
The average Radio frequency treatment will only take about 30 minutes, depending on the location and size of the area to be treated. For the Booster Package please allow a full 60 min for the appointment.
Is it painful?
This procedure is painless, and there is very minimal downtime.
Are there any side effects?
You may experience some minimal redness and swelling for up to 24 hours after the procedure.
What aftercare advice do you offer?
We recommend that clients avoid the sun, reduce alcohol intake, don’t take hot showers or baths (immediately after treatment) and drink more water. This will promote skin and general well being and aid in the healing process. In addition, we recommend Velashape reaffirming gel as it helps with body firming, tightening, moisturising and also stimulates lymphatic drainage of dead fat cells.
Can you use it in combination with other treatments to enhance results?
