How do Anti-Wrinkle Injections work and who are they for?

What are the benefits of Anti-wrinkle injections?

How long does the treatment take?
An anti-wrinkle treatment will take no more than 15 – 30 minutes to complete, Results can appear after 48 hours however full results are noticeable 2 weeks after treatment. The effects can last from 3 – 6 months. Some clients may require a top up and review at the two-week stage and this can be arranged when required for optimal results.
What are the side effects?
For most clients when this treatment is carried out by licenced medical professional, they do not have any noticeable side effects other than a reduction in the appearance of fine lines.
Temporary side effects may include redness, tenderness, bruising, swelling and twitching in the area, along with pain, numbness and even headache. Many of these disappear within a few hours. None should last more than a few days.
However, it is important to mention that with any cosmetic treatment complications can occur such as temporary weakness and droopiness in the face, a frozen look, and very rarely serious complications such as blurred or double vision, or difficulty breathing. In such instances it is important to seek urgent medical assistance by calling 999 and to also choose a qualified practitioner that are fully insured and included an aftercare service or emergency hotline.
What downtime should I expect?
Most clients can go back to work the same day after treatment however some choose to have treatments few days in advance so that if any minor bruising does appear it will heal before a social occasion.
