IPL Hair Removal
IPL, short for intense pulsed light, works by emitting powerful, full spectrum, low-range infrared light beam into the skin, to target the dark pigment, melanin found in skin and especially at around hair follicle root. IPL energy heats up the melanin and permanently destroys the hair to the base and papilla (produces hair), preventing hair regrowth. The hair grows out 1-2 weeks post treatment and sheds away. IPL is mainly suitable for those with light skin tone and dark hair.

Before & After
Velar Pulsar IPL Technology
Vela Pulsar IPL uses the principle of selective photothermolysis to eliminate hair and its potential regrowth without affecting the surrounding tissue. During the treatment, the light source from Vela Pulsar IPL passes through the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. Due to this absorption, the temperature of hair is hiked, thus destroying the hair itself and, also the cells responsible for regrowth.
